Franco Simone is the owner and operator behind Strawberry Trail Rides, located in the cool mountain community of Strawberry, Arizona. Franco attended Royal Tine Guide School in Montana, where he trained in traditional backcountry horsemanship, learning how to ride horses and pack mules safely and efficiently through rugged wilderness terrain.
With Strawberry Trail Rides, Franco brings that experience and horsemanship to guests looking to explore the area at a relaxed pace. His rides take visitors through the pine forests, open meadows, and scenic mountain country that make the Pine–Strawberry area so special.
Known for calm, well-trained horses and a strong background in backcountry horsemanship, Franco focuses on creating safe, authentic experiences for riders of all levels—from first-time visitors to experienced riders.
Whether leading a scenic ride through the forest or introducing someone to horses for the first time, Franco’s goal is simple: give people a real connection to Arizona’s mountains, horses, and the outdoors.
